As the year wraps up, we’re reflecting on an incredible 2024 filled with innovation, growth, and milestones that drive our mission of delivering world-class technology to growers and packers worldwide. Let’s take a look at what we accomplished over the past 12 months.
We’re proud of our range of innovations that were released in 2024 and hearing the positive feedback around what customers are now able to accomplish with these tools.
Hectre Color Grade
With Hectre Color Grade, a single photo provides accurate insight into fruit color, enabling packers to fill sales orders with confidence while optimizing their storage and packing plans for the best returns.

Hectre Perform for Apples
Growers became better equipped to monitor picker performance and QC with Hectre Perform. The app gave insight into picker speed, size and color of fruit picked, and defect detection where live notifications were sent out if thresholds had been breached. This ability to provide immediate feedback to picking staff ensures the right fruit is picked to the right quality, maximizing returns.

Hectre Perform for Cherries + Tote Counting
Our latest innovation that was released during the current Chilean cherry harvest season was Hectre Perform for Cherries. This provided the same value that apple growers were receiving with Hectre Perform, but now specially designed with cherry growers in mind. With this edition, each individual tote or bucket could be tracked back to the picker for full transparency and traceability.
Analytics Pro
Growers unlocked a wealth of data through Analytics Pro which provided live insights into quality control metrics, picker performance, and overall orchard performance. With all this orchard data consolidated within PowerBI dashboards, growers could plan the future much more confidently and therefore make data-driven decisions.

Our relentless drive to enhance never stops! In 2024, our development team rolled out over 125 product enhancements, refining every aspect of Hectre—from our Size and Color apps to our Orchard Management Software. Every update is designed to maximize efficiency and provide a seamless experience for growers and packers alike.
This year alone, our customers scanned a staggering 258,663,025 fruits using Hectre’s Size and Color apps! In terms of bins scanned, that number is 1,278,593, which would cover 1,918 football fields when laid out.
Growers and packers have been using Hectre Size and Color across multiple crop types including apples, cherries, pears, stonefruit, and citrus fruits (with a few more crops currently in the development lab).
2024 was certainly a year of growth and we can proudly share that Hectre is currently being used in New Zealand, Australia, USA, Canada, Mexico, Chile, Italy, Germany, Turkey, Poland, UK, Ireland, Czech Republic, Spain, Portugal, South Africa, Belgium, Netherlands, Argentina, Serbia.
With this growth, we’ve expanded our Customer Success team even more to ensure that there is strong, multilingual local support on the ground across these regions.
Our momentum here will continue next year where we’ll be active in even more countries.

To support this expansion, 2024 also has the largest number of tradeshows that we’ve attended. We had over 30 different events in all corners of the world that we were involved in, whether that be through having a stand onsite, presenting, sponsoring, or just simply attending and connecting with the industry.
A few notable ones were exhibiting at our largest show, Fruit Logistica in Germany (where we already doubled our stand size for the 2025 show – stay tuned), Fruit Attraction in Spain where for the first time, we successfully had a Top Down demo setup right on our stand, and being one of the main sponsors at Prognosfruit, the largest apples and pear conference in the world.
